Job description
At Ionic Group, we build the next generation of global companies at the intersection of Gaming, Media, Fintech, and AI. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling modern products and internal platforms that move fast, perform reliably, and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work across the entire stack—front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and integrations—helping transform ideas into production-ready systems with clean architecture and high velocity execution.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a venture studio environment where priorities evolve quickly, quality matters, and ownership is non-negotiable. You will collaborate closely with product, design, founders, and technical leadership to ship features that support growth, improve performance, and unlock new business capabilities. You will contribute to engineering best practices, reduce complexity across the codebase, and help build a scalable foundation for multiple ventures.
We are looking for a builder who can take initiative, communicate clearly, and deliver measurable outcomes. You’ll be expected to move between prototyping and production, maintain high standards for code quality, and help Ionic Group ship software that is secure, maintainable, and built for scale.
What you will do
Build and ship full stack applications across web platforms using modern frameworks and clean architecture patterns. Own end-to-end development—from requirements to implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with design and product to deliver intuitive UI experiences and ensure performance across devices. Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and database layers that are reliable, scalable, and easy to extend. Integrate third-party services and internal systems to support automation, analytics, payments, identity, and platform operations. Improve engineering velocity by introducing tooling, documentation, and reusable components that reduce friction across teams. Maintain a high bar for security, performance, and code quality through testing, reviews, and continuous improvements.
Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering production-grade software that supports Ionic Group’s venture studio model and the products we build across multiple industries. You will help define implementation approaches, write clean and maintainable code, and continuously improve systems as they scale. You will contribute to the stability of our applications through testing and monitoring, and you will collaborate across disciplines to ensure work is aligned with product goals and user needs.
You will operate with high ownership and strong technical judgment—balancing speed and quality while maintaining an architecture that supports long-term scalability. You will also help improve our development processes, introduce better patterns, and contribute to a culture of execution and accountability.
What you will do
Deliver full stack features from concept to deployment with clear ownership and accountability. Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences and maintain component libraries that scale across products. Develop backend services and APIs with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability. Design and optimize database schemas and queries to support high-traffic and data-intensive workflows. Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices across the stack. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and deployment workflows that reduce risk and increase speed. Monitor production systems, debug issues quickly, and improve reliability through observability and incident learnings. Collaborate closely with founders, product, and design teams to turn business needs into well-scoped technical execution.
