Ionic Group is building the next generation of global companies at the intersection of Gaming, Media, Fintech, and AI. We are hiring a Head of Media & Marketing to lead brand growth and performance across our portfolio. This is a senior, high-ownership role responsible for building a consistent, scalable content engine that supports multiple ventures—each with distinct audiences, products, and growth objectives.
You will oversee the strategy, production, and distribution of content across all major channels, ensuring every portfolio company benefits from clear positioning, consistent storytelling, and a repeatable pipeline that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion. This role sits at the center of creative and commercial execution, balancing brand excellence with measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and operator: someone who can define a unified media system, run high-velocity execution, and raise the quality bar across copy, design, video, and distribution. You will collaborate with founders, product teams, creators, and external partners to build narratives that resonate, campaigns that perform, and content that compounds over time.
Skill / Experience Requirements
- 7+ years experience in media, marketing, brand, or growth leadership roles
- Proven experience building and scaling content systems across multiple brands or business units
- Strong understanding of content strategy, storytelling, and brand positioning
- Demonstrated ability to manage creative teams, creators, agencies, and production workflows
- Expertise across organic social, paid creative, distribution strategy, and channel growth
- Strong copy and creative judgment with a high bar for quality and consistency
- Data-driven approach to performance, reporting, and creative optimization
- Experience launching campaigns and supporting product growth across acquisition and retention
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with founders and executives
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
What you will do
Build and own the media and marketing strategy across Ionic Group’s portfolio companies. Establish a repeatable content pipeline that produces high-quality outputs consistently across brands. Define brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and channel strategies that drive growth. Lead content production across formats including short-form video, long-form video, social, email, blog, PR, and paid creative. Oversee distribution systems to ensure content reaches the right audiences through organic and paid channels. Partner with founders and leadership to align marketing priorities to business outcomes. Track performance, optimize creative direction, and scale what works across the portfolio.
Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring Ionic Group’s portfolio maintains a consistent, high-performing media and marketing output across all platforms. You will own the operational system behind content creation and distribution, ensuring the right content is shipped at the right cadence with the right level of quality. You will manage internal and external creative resources, establish production workflows, and set standards that make marketing execution scalable across multiple ventures.
This role requires strong leadership, high creative judgment, and the ability to operate across multiple brands simultaneously. You will be expected to build clarity from ambiguity, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and implement a marketing machine that drives measurable results across awareness, acquisition, and retention.
What you will do
Create and manage an end-to-end content pipeline across the portfolio, from ideation to publishing and reporting. Establish content calendars, production workflows, and approval processes that maintain speed and consistency. Oversee creative direction across brand identity, voice, storytelling, and campaign execution. Lead channel growth across social platforms, email, communities, and distribution partnerships. Build a performance culture using analytics to refine messaging, formats, and creative outputs. Manage agencies, freelancers, and creators to scale production capacity. Ensure marketing and media efforts align with business goals across launches, growth loops, and brand building initiatives.
